Who We Are
Blue Water Immunization Partnership (BWIP) is a community-led, volunteer organization dedicated to offering St. Clair County residents factual information so that individuals and families can make informed decisions about vaccines and their health. We believe that “good health starts with good information“. We also want to help people access vaccines. Where can you go? Is there a cost? Are there any risks? How do you know what vaccines you need?
Our volunteers work together to provide reliable, easy-to-understand vaccine information, connect residents with local vaccination resources, and bring vaccine education directly to community organizations, businesses, senior communities, and neighborhoods. We are not part of the St. Clair County Health Department. We are an independent group of local volunteers who care deeply about the health and well-being of our community. We have partnered with the United Way of St. Clair County, The Blue Water YMCA, St. Clair County Community Mental Health, Port Huron Civic Theatre, Enter Stage Right at the Citadel. We have participated in SCC Community Resource Day, Backpack Giveaway Day, the Senior Expo at the Y. In the past, we have offered vaccine clinics, partnering with Wadhams Pharmacy, and are currently offering vaccine clinics in Fall, 2026, with the Kroger Wellness Outreach program.

We bring people together, share trusted information, build partnerships, and help make vaccination easier and more accessible throughout St. Clair County.
We are neighbors helping neighbors — working together to build a healthier, more protected community. Currently, the Blue Water Immunization Partnership is a group of community-member volunteers who represent a wide range of public and private industry, including health and human service organizations and businesses, physicians, university professors, dentists, nurses, teachers, and concerned citizens from all over St. Clair County. High school students, who are working on a school research project, or service organziation project, are welcome. We can connect you with our BWIP members who are professionals in the fields of pharmacy, immunology, scientific research, medicine, and nursing. Please contact us. We love to help!
